Disabled access

The Showground
has a network of level tarmac roads
for ease of access for the
disabled, along with designated parking
at events organised by the Society and
disabled
toilets and showers. At events organised
by the Society, wheelchairs and electric
scooters are available by prior arrangement
from Fair Mobility, tel. 01522 790834.

Dogs
 |
Dogs are permitted
onto the Showground at the Shire Horse
Society Spring Show, East of England
Country Show and the Autumn Show. Dogs
must be kept on a lead at all times.

Please note, dogs are NOT permitted onto
the Showground at either the East of England
July Show (unless they are entered in the
Championship Dog Show) or Christmas Festival
(excludes guide dogs). For all other events,
please contact the organisers as listed
under the ‘What’s On Section’.
Travel
Road - All events are well sign-posted from
all major road routes.
Rail - Rail passengers should travel to
Peterborough station, located approximately
6 miles from the Showground. Telephone 08457
484950 for rail travel enquiries. Taxi ranks
are located outside the station. The Peterborough
Bus Station is located opposite the railway
station (see below).
Bus - Peterborough Bus Station is located
at the Queensgate Shopping Centre in the
town centre. For timetable information,
telephone the public transport information
